Private Cellar Refosco 2019

An ancient red grape variety originally from the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region in the North east of Italy, Refosco dal Peduncalo Rosso is named for the red colour of the stems in ripeness. The impressively deep colour of this wine is matched by rich plummy fruit drive and dark spice characters. The Refosco is a new variety for Tertini Wines, growing on our Kells Creek Vineyard in the Southern Highlands.
