The environment in Tasmania is blessed with pristine water, clean air and rich, ancient soils. The climate is cool and dry which are ideal conditions for growing premium cool climate grapes. Our wines are produced with a focus on sustainable viticulture and minimal intervention in our winemaking.
Our Tasmanian range is an origin story for founder Julian Tertini. Having grown up in nearby Hobart, his goal was to invest and give back to the state. With 20 acres already planted and another 30 acres being planted in 2019, the aim is to always have a 100% grown, produced and bottled Tasmanian product.
Notes From The Winemaker: | The 2018 vintage in Tasmania was a good season with excellent fruit grown across the state. Slightly warmer than average weather, combined with average rainfall meant that most vineyards had the potential to ripen their fruit with very low pest and disease pressure. |
